In August 2024, we ceremoniously handed over Volvo Trucks’ largest and most advanced 5,500 square meter center in the Eastern European region, located in Ecser, which was constructed by Weinberg. Our company reached the structural completion of the facility in just under six months, and we needed approximately the same amount of time to finish the building. The delivered center in Ecser consists of four organically connected sections: a two-story office, truck and bus service center, inspection and training center, customer lounge and waiting area, truck wash, new and used vehicle dealership, and it also houses Volvo’s own financing company, Volvo Financial Services.
One of the most distinctive features of the center is the glass-walled inner atrium and the louvered façade. During the construction, special attention was paid to reducing the ecological footprint, aligning with Volvo’s global sustainability efforts. The result is a state-of-the-art climate-neutral building that not only meets Volvo’s current needs but is also prepared for future technological developments. Thanks to Weinberg’s work, Volvo’s Ecser center is not just an industrial facility, but an innovative hub that will contribute to Volvo’s long-term success in Europe.
