Weinberg constructed the modern, sustainable, and energy-efficient A1, A2, and B1 warehouses at the East Gate PRO Business Park in Fót. The construction process emphasized the use of environmentally conscious building materials that are easy to clean, free of harmful substances, and contributed to reducing the ecological footprint of the project. Construction waste generated during the process was recycled, further minimizing the environmental impact of the construction.
The development, launched in June 2021 as a greenfield investment, offers modern, customizable storage solutions tailored to current industrial and logistics needs. The A1 warehouse was completed with a floor area of nearly 12,000 square meters, featuring a precast reinforced concrete frame structure and a facade clad with sandwich panels. The roof structure was equipped with a soft-cover waterproofing system, while the load-bearing deep-profile trapezoidal sheets were insulated with 24-centimeter-thick rock wool, ensuring energy efficiency and thermal insulation.
All three warehouse buildings (A1, A2, B1) achieved the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) “Very Good” rating, Hungary’s most popular sustainable building certification system. This certification reflects Weinberg’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable architecture.
