A strong focus on students
Familiarising younger generations with company activities is an important objective of Weinberg 93 Ltd. Early on in corporate history the management understood that it is
imperative for stability and development to participate from the beginning in the education of those future experts with whom they would like to work together. To that end they
established good working relationships with regional vocational secondary schools, and more recently established a Weinberg 93 Scholarship in cooperation with Miskolc University.
A reception for local students was another station on the road towards implementation of this corporate objective. One day in November grade 7 and 8 students paid a visit at Sárospatak headquarters. The youth were able to witness close-by the working routines in a modern steel structure manufacture.
Next to that visit a career forum was organised for grade 11 and 12 students, due to sit their graduation exams soon, of Prince Árpád Grammar School.
Since 2004 the Company participates in secondary vocational training. In the near future they intend to extend cooperation to the dual system of the tertiary engineering level.
Weinberg’s objective is to offer genuine alternatives to those youth about to set out on their career path, in order to provide for future staffing needs, and to increase the Company reputation within the local population.
Company leaders hope to have aroused the interest of students, and not least that they will be able to welcome some of them as staff members of Weinberg 93 Ltd.
