Construction in Vásárosnamény

Weinberg has started the earthwork with a very tight deadline – just six and four weeks – to construct monolithic foundations and special civil engineering work in Vásárosnamény. An interesting aspect of execution is the jet grouting method of foundation. Earlier we already published a special feature describing this method on our website.
Interspan Faipari Kft., part of the Swiss Krono Group is a producer of chipboard and laminated furniture board in both Hungary and Central Europe. It aims to complete a 30-billion Forint investment including a state subsidy to create a modern OSB production plant on a 26-hectare site in Vásárosnamény. Expected annual production will be of 280,000 m3. One hundred new jobs will be created in the town.
General execution is shared by Weinberg and Swietelsky. Apart from the tight deadline, the fact that construction is under constant planning poses a difficulty. Alongside the earthwork and foundations, we have tendered for the production of steel structure which is over 2000 tonnes. The completion date is expected to be in April 2016.
